Well, lets see....yesterday I played in the times square subway for a while. It was very humid and hot! I met a composer who seems cool. He and I exchanged info for some possible violin tracks on his stuff and he gave me the number of a guy to call to ask about bing an intern at a jazz studio. I don't know what that would even entail. He said I should say that I have some experience and that mostly I'd just be getting people water but that I'd be around a lot of great jazz infulences. I guess there is nothing to lose by calling!
I didn't meet my roomate last night. She said she was going to be in the studio and to call her in the evening when she was probably done--but she didn't answer or call back last night. Probably studio got too involved and lost track of time--I hope. I will feel relieved when she calls. There is still the slight fear that she could tack the deposit and not give me the apt. I don't feel that will happen because she has been corrisponding with me...but I'll feel better once I meet her and move in!
I did go to a couple Jam sessions with Chris and Flora(two friends of my dear pal Katie's whom I am getting to know). I didn't actually play but it was good to see who is out there. Flora sang and knocked everyones socks off(I thought).
Today I'll have my first acupuncture appt. with a new york acupuncturist. Allright, catch ya later!
